Homemade Oat Milk

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 2 cups water
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract or use 2 dates
  • 12 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice (depending on how sweet you want it!)


Instructions

  1. Let the oats, salt, maple syrup, and dates or vanilla sit in the water for 10-15 min then blend for 20-30 seconds, don’t over blend!
  2. Strain well through a fine or mesh strainer 2-3 times at least – don’t press the oat mixture through the strainer.
  3. Straining it more helps ensure you avoid a grainy texture. Chill for at least 30 minutes then enjoy!
