- 1/4 cup oats
- 2 cups water
- Pinch sea salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract or use 2 dates
- 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice (depending on how sweet you want it!)
Instructions
- Let the oats, salt, maple syrup, and dates or vanilla sit in the water for 10-15 min then blend for 20-30 seconds, don’t over blend!
- Strain well through a fine or mesh strainer 2-3 times at least – don’t press the oat mixture through the strainer.
- Straining it more helps ensure you avoid a grainy texture. Chill for at least 30 minutes then enjoy!
